what went on these 4 protruding bolts in the boot back panel ?

Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me understand the purpose of these four bolts from the back panel of my 1969 2+2 FHC (See photo below)

I presume something was fitted onto this.

A/C underdash evaporator unit mounting

Hello again all. Having somewhat moved on in the A/C switch department, I have offered up the evaporator unit under the dash. Thing is that I can’t see how the unit is secured , other than the thin metal plaques on the frontside of the unit itself. Any info/photos would be greatly appreciated Cheers

Oh Paul, you are indeed a beautiful man!, thats cleared up the doubt completely and I have reconstructed the missing connections B & D! Seeing the wiring also gives me great assurance as I had a couple of looms and wasnt sure which was correct. Ill post the inards of the switch with its plastic cam ...

Here's the other side of the control unit, you might see the broken bakelite, I presume here ther would have been the other connections, C & D?

I'll have a look for the E 157/1 and the possibility of photos would be much appreciated without going to too much trouble, please!

Hello all, I have recently acquired a US import e-type 1969 2+2 LHD Automatic. I am planning on doing some work on it but I'm not sure which tools size I need ie,....Imperial, AF, Metric, BSW etc,
