Re: brake servo spring position
Hello Mark, The following link, which helped me when I had pedal kick back (Thanks Ralph), has a drawing with the correct position. Additionally, there is a description in the S3 Workshop Manual. Hope this helps and greetings. Daniel https://forum.etypeuk.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7346&hilit=Pedal+kic...

Re: Series 1 4.2 Stereo Speakers
Hi Andrew, Also looking at this topic for my project. Found the Roadstar DRS-22 with installation depth of only 35mm, so it would fit also with a larger radio. Not sure about availability in EU/UK or quality. I have seen them on US Ebay and Aliexpress. Greetings https://i.postimg.cc/tTJNxsyG/IMG-411...

Re: Gear lever free play
Hi Simon, It is some time since I assembled the gearbox and it is an S1, but the parts book confirms: the double coil spring washer goes between the pivot jaw and the tufnol washer. An older post „fitting gearstick shifter“ https://forum.etypeuk.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14548 might also help. Greetin...

Re: First post
Thanks for the encouragement. I hope it is not another seven years.
Some pictures I got from the first owner, when I bought it and the current state.

Re: First post
Thanks for the welcome. I hope at least the signature works now. As for the picture, I will have to study the topic: I see the Imgur picture in the preview nd when I look at my post in the forum, but apparently it is not visible to others. Maybe there is a reason why it took me so long… https://imgu...

Hello everyone, It took some time for me to do my first post on this forum where I learned a lot about E Types in the past years and it has helped me to keep my cars running. I am now rebuilding my 66 OTS, which I took apart 7 years ago an before I bought it, it sat in a shed for probably several de...
