I have a correct period radio in my etype, never turn it on.
I would buy a non working original one in decent condition, and just fit that.

I changed to MWS tubeless with new tyres, a year ago. They work fine although they seem to need topping up more regularly than when i had tubed tyres.

You will be able to search xkedata and find body numbers of the cars, so should be able to work out where yours fits in.

Another satisfied customer. I fitted it slightly inboard of most others as the bulkhead was smooothest there.

Similar thing for the Series 2. I started a thread but there was no real concensus on a location or day.
