I have done the same on the bolts but gluing the rubber and spacer is very smart….. :yellow:

For Chris…. i had a look at the tank breath hose ….. and you were right i have forgotten 3 years ago when i have fitted the tank to tight the clamp collar ….. :oops: I have had this Morning a nice drive for +- 30miles on little Sunny roads with no smell with almost a full tank ... :bouncyyellow:

Jerry, i have drilled two 1.5mm holes in the filler cap … Chris i looked behind the tank side aperture and effectively the rubber hose i fitted ….3 years ago ! was loosed on its pipe clamp…. :oops: i must have forgotten to tight it .... So tomorow i'll have ( i hope) a nice drive with the spring sme...

Jerry i have dismantled the filler cap, i have not seen any air hole….. this cap was with the car when i bought it…. i Wonder if the PO had theese smells ? may be i'll drill a 1mm hole on one side ! https://i.goopics.net/P2Yg4.jpg https://i.goopics.net/4AKjZ.jpg Chris i have not any rubber hose goin...

Fuel smell while driving

After 3 fuel leaks around the tank in my serie 1 FHC which are solved now, i have still some fuel smell when i drive and principally when i have the throttle pedal down for speed up. I have checked the 3 banjo around the carbs, the fuel filter, fuel hoses , the fuel "tank" of each carb where the flo...
