Re: Greensand Color

Hello Thank you all for sharing your views. Peter my car color today is more like the color of the car you posted. I saw other postings of greensand color cars, and thought my color was incorrect and the yellow/mustard was the right greensand color!. I Am in the process of getting the car repainted,...

Greensand Color

I have a 74 Etype that is Greensand color, that i plan to repaint. I have attached a picture of what a greensand looks like (not my car). Original color of my car is greensand, but i find it is very polarizing....one either loves it or hates it. No inbetween. The car is a very good original car with...

Re: Flickering Headlights

Flickering Headlights

Hello....when my car is running and i turn on the headlights, it flickers a little bit. Is this a sure sign the alternator needs to be replaced, or can it be something else ? Any advise will be greatly appreciated

Thank you Steve. You are right that is an option. I can do the same using an XJ12 Dipstick too.

Re: Series 3 Engine Oil Dipstick

Thanks for all the responses. I have reached out to Coventry West, and have not heard back if they have a Etype Series 3 dipstick. If Coventry West does not have one, and if the XJ12 will not read correctly, are there any other options that anyone knows?

Re: series 3 steering wheel replacement

A friend has a Moss Motors leather cover on his Etype Series 3. I really does change the look and feel of the steering, and is a much cheaper option than Moto Lita, and preserves the originality of the car, and improves the look and feel.
