Re: Etype V12 Thermostat Recommendation
I did add VW fans, change the thermostats and Otto Switch…it was after this work the car runs hotter than before, Have you seen this link on Etype series 3 thermostats… https://www.coolcatcorp.com/thermostats/Series%203%20E-Type.html I can hear the fan, and assumed it was a defective thermostat. Etype V12 Thermostat Recommendation
Hello….i changed the thermostat on my car with a brand bought from a major Etype parts supplier. Now the car is running very hot. There is a lot of confusion on which Thermostat is a good choice for an Etype V12. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

1973 Series 3 Bonnet Strut Replacement
Hello
My car's bonnet is behaving like a guillotine....keeps falling shut after opening without warning. I think it is the Bonnet Strut on my 73 Series 3 roadster. Has anyone changed this? If yes is it easy to do, and are there instructions anywhere on how to do it?

Re: Brake Pedal Pressure Drops?
Yes i was holding the brakes. One more comment on this...the brakes do not go down gently, when i have my foot on the brakes after the car stops, it suddenly jerks down about an inch....i did have a master cylinder put in about a year ago, and there are no fluid leaks

Re: What problems with Crankcase Breather fitted this way?
Ok thanks Adrian. I hope i can find original crankcase vent hardware. In the meantime am i better of disconnecting from the air filter, and just connect it to a separate standalone K&N vent filter? Sandy

What problems with Crankcase Breather fitted this way?
Please see the attached picture. My mechanic has the crankcase breather connected directly to one air filter. I have also attached another picture of a V12 (bottom picture) with what i believe is the original factory way, where you can see the breather go into the four carbs. Mine goes just into one...

Re: AC Compressor- Anyone have this happen?
Thank you. Is there a simple way to diagnose if the engine mount is sagging or the pulley is out of alignment?

AC Compressor- Anyone have this happen?
Turned on my AC today, and you can see in the pictures bits of the rubber were wearing out. Any idea what is causing this and what is the fix? Indicator Flasher Location
Hello
Can someone tell me where is the indicator flasher location, and how does one get to it on a Series 3? I looked inside the center panel (near the fuses) and in the engine area and could not find it. It stopped working so there is no sound to follow.
