Re: 123 distributor

Series 1 2+2

Hi
Have purchased a 123
Upgraded the Rev counter to run with the distributor

On the Rev counter one terminal runs to the coil and the other asks for a 12 v supply,
Question is where is the best connection for the supply

Thanks

Oil pressure gauge replacement

Hi all
E type series 1 2+2
I’m replacing the electrical oil pressure gauge with the capillary type

What do I do with the wires which connect to the current gauge ( lamp obviously stays)

Can they simply be made safe or do I need to do something different

Thanks in advance

Securing seals in place

Series1 2+2
Any advice on securing the seals in place on the car
Boot seal, door seals ets
Should I use contact adhesive which is very messy or an alternative
Also what should I use under front and rear screens to ensure water tight, if anything??

Any guidance please greatfully received
Thank
