Re: Colling Fan upgrade #2
Cool cat in fact is excellent and very efficient, compared to the other fans the main advantage is the only arround 6/7 amps needed at full speed ... order it directly in US, this is what I did

Re: Colling Fan upgrade #2
I'm interesting as well in the radtec thermo switch kit as it allow to switch on the fan with the temperature you set up. Do you know on which hose it should be fitted for being efficient knowing that this is a 38mm internal diameter ? I have a cool cat as well this is really efficient in both flow ...

Re: HD8 carb issue
I am interested to still get an answer about how far down the jet the fuel should be seen and settle. MarkRado say 5mm ? Is this correct ? Now you can see why I comment about needle thickness now relevant to the initial problem as described. John : the flooding was not perhaps what you and I unders...

Re: SU carb blockage?

My pump was running but no petrol arrived to the filter, I took a seringue, plugged it on the pipe after the filter and vaccumed in order to have the pump properly feeded. If the petrol filter is not full it is a pump issue / fuel lines / f...

Re: alternator not charging S1 4.2
I’d start by checking if the alternator relay is working. It’s located on the LHS mudshield, and disconnects the alternator from the battery when the ignition is off. I don't have alternator relay on my car (65) I think it appeared on later cars (67/68). Which version of 4tr do you have? There’s ve...
