Re: FHC rear hatch support bracket

Have not done it yet.
I suppose that will work, but the support is angled and I guess there is a sweet spot were it should be attached to the body. So that the hatch doesnt open too much or too little

FHC rear hatch support bracket

Hi

Does anyone have a picture showing the three holes in the body to attach the bracket /prop that holds the rear hatch open on a fhc?
Forgot to drill new holes in body when the car had the rear panels and floor changed and the replacement panel does not have the holes pre drilled

Re: Dismantling dashboard

I would suggest to not remove the black knobs. If you unscrew the level from behind the dash you can take the lever and black knob off as a unit.

With regards to the vents I did remove the wire on the vent it self

Re: Converting an S2 dash board to S1

Have done my self Not a big job but it depends on how far you would take it. The best way forward is to purchase a s1 centre dash with switches and move the instrument over from your s2. Same with tach unless you want to have the s1 tacho generator etc To be 100% correct you need to change the dash ...

Re: Where to get the correct glass fuses

Where to get the correct glass fuses

Hi

I`m trying to find the correct lucas fuses for my car in various amps but I can only find the agc style fuses. If I understand correctly theese are not comparable both in size and blow rating.
Where can the correct ones be found, or any tips for finding the correct ones?

Re: Smith oil pressure gauge - how to reattach black plastic hose to fitting

Depending on what have been done to the engine I belive you could exceed 60lbs
So its not useless to have that extra 40lbs on the gauge

Re: SNG Barratt User Group

good idea. I have ordered a lot of parts and a lot of it is not the quality I expect. However since i`m not local its often more expensive to send back than to throw away. Also its not easy to get back the vat paid when importing the items. If the goal is to increase the catalouge I would suggest pr...

I cannot find the crrect bolts for the bowl to the bonnet on the parts diagrams.
They are not on the headlight assembly drawing or on the bonnet drawing.
Anyone know where to find or what the sizes for the bolts are?

Re: Speed limit Autobahn

Had a waterhose blow up when trying to speed with my audi s4. The water blew right onto the glowing turbo and it made a lot of smoke. Good thing the seat was leather, my trousers were brown afterwards
