Hello,
I love the rivets, because they steering wheel looks much more dynamic than without. And I prefer the T-spoke design over the Y-spoke one.
My question was just to see if you prefer 14" with 4 holes or 15" with 5 holes.

14" or 15" Moto-Lita steering wheel?
Hello, which of these Moto-Lita T-spoke steering wheels for E-Type V12 do you prefer? the 14" with 4 holes on everey spoke or the 15" with 5 holes on every spoke? The smaller 14" steering wheel gives you more room between the steering wheel and the legs, but 4 holes look "poor" compared to 5 holes t...

Re: thicker Moto-Lita steering wheel
Hello, now finally this thread has movement and a lot of feedback. I know that the E-Type has no wood in the interior, but I do not like at all the original Series III steering wheel. It looks cheap and the horn button is awful. A wood steering wheel gives the car a special touch, it is an upgrade f...

Re: thicker Moto-Lita steering wheel
Hello again,
now please tell me which spoke design you prefer for an E-Type: the original T-spoke design or the Y-spoke one? Please imagine it with the E-Type horn push button!
Thank you ans best regards from sunny Valencia

Re: thicker Moto-Lita steering wheel
Hello Peter, please add some pics of your steering wheel! Is it the T-spoke one or the Y-spoke version? The pics of the thicker wheel rim that I added are only to see the difference ion the thickness, I know that the design and horn button are NOT the ones for E-Type. My wish is a 14" T-Spoke steeri...

Re: thicker Moto-Lita steering wheel
Hello again,
I have seen pics of the modified 6.1 litre E-Type V12 from E Type UK and the steering wheel seems to be the thicker rim one, correct?
Regards
Carlos

Re: thicker Moto-Lita steering wheel
Hi Steve, wow, you really could see and feel it??!!! That are good news!!! Do you think that the thicker one feels much better? I ask, because almost all wooden steering wheels feel just fragile when driving and I am searching for a combination of both worlds = good feeling + good look. At this mome...

Re: thicker Moto-Lita steering wheel
I know, but I love the rivets!!!! My E-Type V12 OTS has a lot of modifications like 16" wire wheels, Weber's, AJ6 TT exhaust, Audio upgrade, lower suspension, stiffer adjustable dampers with stiffer torsion bars, front and rear anti roll bars etc... It is my car and I must like it  Who has e...

thicker Moto-Lita steering wheel
Hello, I already have a Moto-Lita steering Wheel on my E-Type V12, but would like to upgrade to a 14" Moto-Lita steering Wheel with T-spokes = original design and rivets. I have seen that Moto-Lita offers a thicker Wood rim version. How thick is this and who can give me opinions and experiences? I h...

under bonnet air scoop
Hello, I have compared my different E-Type V12 and unfortunately one of them has NO air scoop fitted on the lower side of the bonnet. I have ordered from SNG Barratt the air duct lower panel assembly BD38888, and both air scoop brackets BD38889 and BD38890 + also the air scoop moulding BD39575. My q...

7x15 ET3 Dayton wire wheels
Hello, I would like to know who has fitted Dayton wire wheels 7x15 ET3 (=with deep dish) on his E-Type V12. I ask, because I already have fitted Dayton wire wheels 8x16 ET22 with 225/60 R16 tires and I only had to modify the rear bump stop rubbers, but with 7x15 ET3 and 215/70 R15 the rear arches mu...

brake calipers with 2,88 differential from XJ-S
Hello, there are different stories about upgrading an E-Type V12 with a 2,88 differential from XJ-S: 1) must I use the XJ-S brake calipers instead of the E-Type ones? 2) must I use the XJ-S hand brake brake calipers instead of the E-Type ones? I hope here on this Forum there are a few experts that a...

Hi Pete, but then what is the reason why the whole rubber/plastic surface went down from the metal base? I mean it's not broken, I had "luck" that no pinion destroyed it. Even if the chain had too much tension, the rubber/plastik could show signs of the chain, but how could it be removed totally fro...

timing cahin dampers cracked!!!!
Hello again, please see the attached pics. There you can see for example that on C29636 the complete rubber surface is removed from the metal base. A new C29636 is above. Another interesting detail as that the above new C29636 from 2012 has a changed design of the angle of the rubber surface. The we...

Hello Dave, thank you for the feedback. But I just hope that Uryk has a reason for this behaviour, because it's not fair to do this without prior warning. What can be the real reason? I always thought that these things can occur when buying from a small single man company. It's always a big risk unf...

E Type Fabs
Hello,
I bought a 5 speed gearbox from E Type Fabs. Now I cannot contact Uryk. I have tried several times to call him and I sent him emails, but he never answered. Does anyone of you know what happened? Thank you and best regards from sunny Valencia

timing cahin dampers cracked!!!!
Hello, 4 years ago my 5.3 V12 engine was completely restored, with new psitons and liners, heads repaired, new valves, timing chain + tensioner + guides etc... = ALL done. But now happened an incredible problem: the upper and lower timing damper C29635 and C29636 cracked = the plastic/nylon surface ...
