Re: SNG vs MWS hubs

Front or rear?

I think SNG sells Orson hubs (UK made) & MWS (for rear only). The latter I would think are made in Commonwealth :-)

Re: Floor Replacement

Before you start painting, make sure the smaller drain holes are the right diameter - the floors supplied by Martin Robey few years back for me had the holes enlarged by about 1mm. You might also weld all the extra mounting points for the seats - they are universal for later models, I believe. The f...

Re: Etype rebuild

Martin Robey sells entire shells. You might also look into Monocoque Metalworks - their quality might be better. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=124813588939462 Bonnets are done in Poland in steel and aluminum, but sold through some UK supplier. BG.2402 Angle drive problem

Unfurtunately I had to open up the Angle drive: https://i.postimg.cc/g03Yrf3Z/DSC07798.jpg The pin was loose inside: https://i.postimg.cc/vBzbtfq8/DSC07798a.jpg ...and I believe it has to be fixed somehow. Does anyone have an idea how is it fixed?? I thought I would discover some broken piece, but t...

ysmalkie is Tadek and yes, definitely the electrophoretic painting is what I was referring to.

I don't think that ysmalkie was really intending to refer to electroplating : I suspect that the words he was looking for were electrophoretic painting

Re: Powder Coating Colours

Good protection as a primer is electroplating - very think layer of paint, very durable. It's the one use one used on metal wheels - look at the contact they have with salt and the paint holds for 5+years quite well.. The trick is, that this paint has to be covered with some paint on the top, otherw...

seat slide o-rings

I need to assemble my seat slides - they use rubber o-rings for rollers.
Has anyone figured out the correct size/type?

They look like they have a crossection of 4.7mm (3/16") and inner diameter of 7.9mm (5/16")
