There was a stop plate originally fitted to the brake pedal on at least some 4.2s. It is often missing so may not have been on all.

Initially I put washers on the studs between master cylinder and pedal box to get to the right pedal height. When I got the spacer (available from other suppliers btw) it was way too thick so I thinned it to the same thickness as the washers. I did change the studs at the same time although it wasn'...

I cant tell you the length of the pushrod as my car has a repro master cylinder which may be different, but to get the pedal heights aligned I used a spacer from the later cars which worked very well.

On my S1 when aligning the pedal heights I first put plain washers between the clutch MC and housing to simulate the spacer. That allowed me to settle on the necessary thickness without touching the clevis which I agree is a pain....

There was recent discussion here about the outboard arm lengths being different so they need to be swapped during a LH-RH conversion. Is that the case here? The swept angles look very similar in your video.

These guys do silicone hoses that have a wrap. Never seen one so I cant say how original it looks.

My Aug 1963 OTS has a locking handles so they do fit.
I wasn't aware it was non standard - is the 4.2 changeover point listed in the official parts book or the SNGB one?
