Hi Julian, Excellent work and big improvement, well done to the team. Two observations, hopefully I was using the system correctly: :studyinggray: My order history and details in my garage when logged in was out of date only showing 2 closed invoices from 2015/16. ? My car was originally a XKE with ...

Re: Roadster or Coupe

I now much prefer the look of the coupe to the point I'm about to buy a series 1 (1964). Have I gone mad? :yeahthat: I think that you have already answered you own question, it's all about personal preference and most owners will usually prefer their own version whether it be an OTS or a FHC. I als...

Yes they come to you  and their requirements are: That the car must have one meter in space all around and be complete for the examination. DVLA request vehicle inspection ?

I just decided to remove my personal number plate for retention from my car and return it to it's original plate and DVLA have decided that they want SGS to inspect my car before they will re-instate the original number plate. Apparently they now have to check 40% of applications. I think this is th...

Re: Gauge refurbishing.

Darren, The dashboard top is able to come out with the windscreen in place but it is not easy job as it is a very tight fit on the back edge to allow for the four threaded bots in the top to sit in the slotted brackets that hold it in place. I managed to get mine out and back three months ago but be...

You need to talk to MarekH (on the forum), I'm sure he will be along to advise shortly as his own improved V12 is "sweet", if not PM him

Re: Hazard dash light not working.

The switch comes out through the front. There are two plastic clips one one either side horizontally on the switch which need compressing to release the casing. Once the switch is out unplug the wires, you will see the rocker works on a central pivot spindle which you gently prize the casing over ke...

Re: Seat removal

Hi Darren, The N/S seat will come out with the door on, you need to release it, turn it on the side around the B pillar. Did it with mine when the seat runner sheared and needed welding on the passenger side. Haven't tried it on the drivers side with the steering wheel in place tho ? :scratchheadyel...

Re: Hazard dash light not working.

I had a similar problem and found that it was a broken rocker switch inside not making constant contact.
Have you checked the switch internals as the copper electrodes can break off or bend especially if the switch action was stiff and this would cause an intermittent fault.
