Rubber seal kit

I was wondering if there is any Forum consolidated opinion about which one is the most reliable rubber seal kit in the market in terms of quality. My experiences with rubber kits is that they simply don't last (in particular in doors). Any advice most welcomed!

Engraved numbers

Apologies if this has been discussed before (I've tried unsuccesfully to find an answer searching the Forum), but I was wondering if the engraved numbers on this part are related at all with chassis or body numbers. They definitely do not correspond to my Heritage Certificate: Best wishes and Merry ...

One follow-up question to this matter. Where to buy good reproduction toggles?

Re: Marston Radiator Numbers

Hi Phil: There is useful information on this regard on the 'Jaguar E-Type Six-Cylinder Originality Guide" from Haddock-Mueller, page 207. For instance, they mention that the "Issue Nº" box is usually un-stamped, "Test Pressure" should be most likely '15', and the other two are really a mistery for m...

Reproduction Periodic Maintenance Vouchers?

I've seen this in eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2900-Jaguar-Et ... K-&vxp=mtr

I thought no one was producing reproduction for the maintenance vouchers, any idea about which one is doing this kind of work?

Hi:

I was considering buying a new data plate for my own car, until I see how a good restoration can recover a damaged one: http://classicjaguar.com/cj/885013.html

Re: Fosseway 'Marston' radiator

Reopening an old thread, is there any technical advantages on the Fosseway 'Marston' replica? Its website just states that "We have combined a 60mm version of the same high performance core that we use in our other E-Type radiators with header tanks machined from solid billet aluminium". So my assum...

Re: E Type Air Conditioning

Resurrecting an old tread, does anyone know why Clayton do not offer the option of its Footwell Mounted System (http://claytonclassics.co.uk/parts-upgrades/204-air-conditioning-jaguar-e-type) to other E Types apart from the 2+2 and the series 3? I think there is enough room on a normal FHC to lose s...

FHC roof trimming

I was wondering which one is the right colour for the roof trimming on a Series 1 FHC, when the interior trimming is red. Looking for examples, I see in some cases seems to be beige, in others light grey? https://s30.postimg.org/ouck4ph0x/Interior_trimming_1.jpg https://s8.postimg.org/qyxls4b1h/Inte...

Glasses and windshield

Dear all: I've been surfing the different debates on which one seems to be the best windshield replacement option (in my case, for a Series 1 FHC). I've also to consider replacement of the windows glasses. Two providers are recommended, SNG Barratt and Pilkington, but it seems people needed up to th...

Mysterious piece

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac281/Abateherblay/image.jpg1_zpsgni1pui6.jpg Dear all: During restoration works on my Series 1 FHC the piece pictured appeared one day in the interior driver side carpet. It can be a small piece from another car or belong to the E Type. I've been unable to identi...
