Re: Wet plug fouling

Can’t help with the problem but can help on your cylinder numbering!

That’s cylinder 4 They’re numbered from the bulkhead to the front of the car.

I’m sure a techie bod will be along in a minutewith ideas on the issue......

Re: Slow fuel pump?

Had one of those annoying “cant find the fault” scenarios last summer, which turned out to eventually be the pump in my S2 on its way out... replaced it and all was fine again.... A click every seven seconds when the bowl is empty sounds much too slow... it should click like a ratchet until it’s ful...

Re: Wheel choice

I put a set of MWS wires on my S2 last year with Pirelli's and have absolutely no complaints. They look great and sparkle really well. Chrome, not SS. Also, I went for the original 5" to keep the look original. Coupled with the Pirelli's, it is in keeping with the original look. Hope that helps?. Ch...

Re: Tacho conversion board

I've got one of those fitted. Works well, although there was an initial problem if I used the horn, which resulted in the tacho flying round to the top and staying there. Easily fixed with a bit of electronic work on the horn relay which took me half an hour and a soldering iron.

I can't put it back together so the cars undriveable until I can find a replacement metal base under the cu...

Peter is absolutely spot on M one, at cold, has a full rad and a vu=ritual;Ly empty header.... Just enough fluid to cover the bottom, not much at all. If I put more in, it "pukes" it out and defines its own level as before! Stephanie, it's nowhere near as complicated, engineering wise, as our Lotuse...

Mines done that a few times...... Too much water in the header....

Although after investigation my fan relay wasn't kicking in my fans .... Too hot.... Coolant on the floor!

The position is definately the header overflow pipe
