series 2 FHC HOLES IN DASH RHS OF SPEEDO

Can anyone tell me what the third hole in the dash on the right of the speedo is for, one has the dipper switch, the other the handbrake fluid level light, what is the other one for?

Yes guys, replaced the felt washer and the rubber one, skimmed the bottom of the canister, but not sure which o ring to use.

Hi Steve, thanks for your reply, have tried the thinner of the 2 which fits best, but it still leaks, perhaps I have over tightened the bolt?

Hi , does anyone know the size of the oil filter rubber gasket? I have 2 different thicknesses, not sure which one to use.

Hi does anyone have pictures of where the under dash mill boards fit on a Series 2 RHD car, I have seen the templates in the knowledge section, but the dont say where the go under the dash.
Any help would be appreciated.

Good day all, has anyone had a problem with aftermarket door locks, I bought 2 after my original ones were lost by the painters and have found that there is too much play in the cogs and the doors wont stay closed properly, also the striker plates have rivets which protrude out too far, catching on ...

Hi Saloonracer, I have a 69 series 2 and it has a vacuum tank which sits on the left rear wheel arch and is connected to the fuel tank via 3 hoses, some people i have spoken to say its not needed, but i have mine in place

Clear, I got them in South Africa where i live, but believe they are used extensively in the Nordic Countries where extreme temperatures are a factor

You could try AYD Suspension manufactures in Turkey, I know that they have them.

BALL JOINT RUBBERS

The best type I have found are made of Polly Urethane, last for years & are best kept in place with wire!
