Re: SERIES 1.5 OTS 1968 REAR TAIL LIGHTS
[quote=Simonpfhc post_id=157873 time=1669059064 user_id=1506] The rear lights of a Series 1.5 are identical in every way to regular Series 1 lights. As long as you got an OTS S1 rear light, it should fit. An OTS rear light has quite a straight top edge where it meets the body, whereas that edge on a...

Re: SERIES 1.5 OTS 1968 REAR TAIL LIGHTS
[quote=bitsobrits post_id=157868 time=1669039647 user_id=1099] There is a difference in shape between the OTS and FHC versions of the rear tail lamp (FHC having a 'shorter' top horizontal surface) . Perhaps they packaged/shipped the wrong part? I am reasonably sure there is no difference between the...

SERIES 1.5 OTS 1968 REAR TAIL LIGHTS
Cn anyone help with information on rear taillight numbers for a series 1.5 OTS 1968. the Barratt catalogue lists part numbers for s 1 4.2 OTS C 16084 and s 1 4.2 FHC but no listing for a S 1.5, I ordered part number C16084 which when it arrived does not fit my car.
Thanks John.

Re: Front ride height with bonnet off
Hi Steve, thanks for your reply, i have just installed the engine and front suspension and set the torsion bars and dropped the car on its wheels, so have not fitted the bonnet. I then measured the distance from the ground to the lower cont. arm and mine is about 2.5 inches higher than the recommend...

Re: CANT ENGAGE ANY GEARS
Firstly, thanks for your reply, yes its just as u say, I can engage any gear including reverse, then start and the car does not move until I release the clutch. Some have suggested that the clutch plate is not moving on the spigot shaft , the engine was overhauled 6 years ago and has stood for this ...

Hi Steve, thanks for your reply, have tried the thinner of the 2 which fits best, but it still leaks, perhaps I have over tightened the bolt?
