Anybody own S3 Reg 53 CAT

Just seen a original oil painting with that reg up for sale for £100. Nothing to do with me just passing it on if anybody owns it. It is blue in the picture. Being sold locally.

Re: Idiot Calling - diesel in E type

The car is running well at the moment on the contaminated fuel after the float chambers were cleaned out. I will let you know if things change for the record. Mot tomorrow which will be interesting.
Thanks again for all the comments and support. Life never gets dull with an E Type

Re: Idiot Calling - diesel in E type

Thanks everyone for their comments. Fortunately the 4th Emergency service turned up and fixed it for me. Saved me a lot of money and fuel so thank you Christopher Storey for your help. I owe you one or is it three, losing count.

Re: Does This Only Happen To Me?

This happened to me when a bird pooped all over the car. I asked my wife for a tissue to which she replied. It will be miles away by now

My chassis is 876959 , (was lhd) has dished floors and dished rear panel behind the seats. This seems to tie in with the bullitin above.

Re: Winter is on the way

Yes but in the UK we have special snowdrops and we even have single leaves that can stop trains in their tracks. We can even sledge if we get more than 100 snowdrops in succession. It is hell here in winter. You do not know how lucky you are

Re: Govt. electric car plans - effect on us

Well as long as they don't start putting lighting on grave stones, I will not be to worried. I am sure we will get around it somehow. Maybe all our cars will become track cars and we can have a vibrant E Type race series and not worry about them getting to odd dent.

Re: Merry Christmas

Are you allowed to mention that C*******s before the 1st December. It seems to get earlier each year. If I was Prime Minister I would ban any mention untill the 2 weeks before the actual event.
But Happy November anyway

Private Messages - stuck in Outbox but not in sent box

When I do a private PM they show in my outbox but not in my sent box. Is this correct or do I have a problem and they are not getting to sent?

Re: The end for the MOT for vehicles of historic interest

I am assuming most E Type owners are interested in cars and have some mechanical knowledge. If they need an mot to tell them their cars are not road worthy then by all means get a gareage to check it out for you. I suspect most E type owner do have a basic knowledge of their cars and an mot will onl...
