Re: Christopher Storey
I have only just heard about this as I have not been on the site for a few weeks. As a near neighbour of Christopher I have been helped by him many time. He was always willing to come to my garage and help me out with lots of issues. When I called at his house normally for some help he would be in t...

Re: The biscuit tin !
The worst thing about bits hanging around for years, tripping over them or stirring you in the face for years is that the day you want it they disappear just like magic. In the end you buy a new one and guess what happens. It uncloaks itself. Black magic is what I call it.ππ PS. I have worked out. E...

Re: Electric Power Steering
Hi, I fitted the EZ system a couple of years back on a S1 and would would recommend it. It was relatively easy to fit and can be done in half a day. As far as i know it is not adjustable and works off your speed and cut out at about 25mph. If you are going around a long bend at around 25mph you can ...

Re: Clutch slave cylinder
After a clutch failure last year i did use a kit to try and solve the problem. However with fluid passing the piston seal i am assuming either cylinder is worn or the seal was not up to standard. For the price of a new slave cylinder i would replace the lot as i am going down to Southampton in a cou...

Re: E10 in my fuel tank!
I think it is standard for an E Type to need a lot of turning over when they have not been used for some length of time. I presume it is getting fuel into the carbs that takes the time. After that then they start very easy hot or cold. Just my experience.

Re: PhDone
Congratulation Simon. Some hard work gone into that and well deserved. Now you just need someone to pay you loads of money for using it so you can get your E Type.

Re: 40 Years of SNG Barratt Video
If I had to sum up SNG Barratt it would be that Julian has always been approachable and will to talk to anyone with a problem. He has always made me feel valued as a customer and that extends to his wife and family. If I had have had problems they have been resolved. If you have a problem talk to hi...

The price of Chips
I was thinking I might take little ride out into Cheshire for a classic car show as I had little to do and nothing planned. Checked on the route and it was 50 miles away. So that worked out 100 miles return trip. Assuming my car will get me 25m/ gallon it is going to cost me circa Β£40 for fuel. I de...
