I have the original water pipe clip which I’ve had re zinc plated ...so plan is to use the C16963 as a replacement for the C19007 ..also I’ll get it pla...

Re: Front suspension

Your picture shows a couple of brackets, maybe related to fitting brake calipers ? I’ve not seen them before and certainly not on either of my S1 cars. They’re the ones I’ve highlighted on your photo Can you enlighten me please? Regards Robbie https://i.postimg.cc/wjRZJZDL/B456-AA8-F-9-F27-4-E4-B-A3...

I must say I’m a bit of a Speyside malt fan, I find the west coast ones a little too peaty!

I warmed the bushes by leaving them above the hot water tank, dipped them in hot water with a slight amount of washing up liquid..very easy

Re: Polishing Engine Alloy

I got my very tarnished inlet balance tubes and dashpots shiny using :
Finer and finer wet and dry and very fine wire wool for the scratches and deeper marks
Then a polishing wheel and compound, first hard then softer
To finish I used “Mother’s” aluminium polish
