Sticky choke

Hello everyone Hope all are keeping well. Fired the old girl up yesterday and took her out for a good run and a fresh tank of fuel. All good, bar a slightly sticky choke in that it doesn't seem to want to push home, and the light keeps coming on. Tickover also slightly fast so I suspect even if the ...

Re: Anyone started to use their e-types yet?

I’m off to the Members Meeting on Sunday in mine. Parked in the Chicane Paddock if anyone is going.

Been out and about a lot this year already with the lovely weather. Nice run down to Goodwood last weekend as well.

Re: Anyone started to use their e-types yet?

Got mine out twice with a local run as a shakedown and then a nice run round Sussex and lunch at Goodwood yesterday. Perfect weather. Saw quite a few old cars out and about though no E’s. Parked next to some XK120/140s at Goodwood. They are lovely. If I had space I’d have an XK120 roadster in the ga...

Planning on getting the old girl out tomorrow for her first run of 2019. Pumped tyres, checked oil and coolant today, so looking forward to getting her started.

Re: Goodwood Breakfast, Classics meet 5th August

Excellent morning. Lots and lots of lovely cars of all manufacturers, with a healthy smattering of Es and plenty of other Jaguars. Goodwood have really got on top of the breakfast club organising now, it is no longer the bunfight of old, and much the better for it. Hi again to Andrew - see you at th...

I think it was a great thing to have at the wedding. Shows British engineering at its best, a nod to the past and the future. Well done Jaguar!

Another thanks for all the effort. I've been heavily involved with another Owners Club and forum for years and know it can sometimes be a thankless task. Just to say if you ever need to ask for an annual contribution towards hosting costs I'd be happy to chip in.

Re: Rough value for a restored e type OTS 4,2 series 1 and 1/2

Have a look here http://cms-gb.com/cars.php

I bought mine off Grahame at CMS and he was brilliant to deal with - there are a few customers of his on here as well. The car at the top of the page would be about right for you and a bit cheaper than the other one you've been looking at?
