Re: Royal Jaguar?
Excellent PR by JLR and an E type at that. Most watching wouldn't know it was electric - it does make the brand and E types a talking point and hopefully as an owner make resale prices stronger when the time comes to say goodbye. Well done Harry for accepting Jaguar's offer over the many others that...

Re: Door Drains
Thanks Steve. Did you buy them or make them yourself?
They look simple enough to make out of a sheet of stainless steel or aluminium.
Cheers,

Re: Door Drains
Just wanted to clarify on this subject of door drain outlets. If you fit them, do you still need to cut the cill rubber seal adjacent to door drain in the door?
Secondly, if you just cut the rubber, can you get away from not fitting the outlets?
Thanks,

Brilliant. I wish I was that creative. There's a hint of comic book illustration that I really like.

Off to Goodwood Revival on 8th Sept
Hi All, My wife and I are going to Goodwood on Friday 8th and I've been looking to find paddock passes. Prices on ebay are crazy, especially as we will only use them for about a couple of hours at the most. I therefore wondered if anyone who is going on 8th and who is lucky enough to have passes to ...

Re: Radiator repair?
I used Mansfield Radiators near Mansfield. Recored using a more efficient centre, ended up like brand new.
The owner specializes in older cars and had other Jaguar and Aston rads in for recorring.
Cost £300.
Easy to find using Google.

Re: Meet up at Summer Events
Anyone go to the JEC e type forum day in Ravenshead, Notts? I was there from 11.00am to 12.30pm. Great time and lots if e types and other classics. Five miles from me and did not know it was on! David, It was mentioned to me by a friend of Julian Bowen, who was hosting the event at his house and ga...

Re: Longers trailer?
I'm sure I've seen this V12 with trailer at the Bourne classic car show in Lincolnshire a few years ago. Owned by a older gent if I remember right.
It was the only e type at the show and my wife commented that it was the prettiest car on display. This helped convince her that I needed one!

Malcolm,
Forgive my ignorance but did you have to carry out any mods before using the LR50 battery?
Cheers,
Nick

Rubber seal advice

Can anyone recommend a source that is reliable? He mentioned that he had heard that Jaguar Heritage had faced similar problems now that they have ...

Re: E Type Boot Badge
I will report back to the retailer and ask for a refund. In the meantime I've sourced a new original part from an old stock of spares. Hopefully this should fit as it carries the same makers marks and part numbers as my broken original. Fingers :fingerscrossed: And thanks for all your help

E Type Boot Badge
Hi, I'm replacing the rear E Type boot badge as my original snapped when being removed prior to being resprayed. I have purchased a replacement (BD 27666) from one of the usual outlets and have discovered that the pin holes do not line up :questionmarks: . The pin by the "E" is just over 1-1.5 mm of...
