I find it hard to believe that stainless steel systems sound significantly different from mild steel systems. Can someone provide the technical differences between mild and stainless materials which could produce this alleged sound difference? (Yield strength, modulus of elasticity, etc) My rusty ol...

The small "snail" type intake duct is correct for OTS from 1E1484/1E12580 and FHC 1E21228/1E32632 per Philip Porter's Original Jaguar E-Type

Thanks for the welcome and offer of assistance. My car is mostly apart now. Chrome which needs rechroming has been sent out. Next comes paint removal and body work. Mich,

Just removed my taillights and they have the foam gaskets. I have ordered replacements from Barratts. Will check if they have them fitted.
