Hello guys.
I'm looking for a bit of advice on changing my gearbox oil. I have looked into it a bit but getting varying answers on the best oil to put in there. It's a 1962 3.8 fhc with correct factory fit 4 speed moss box.
Thanks in advance Paul.

Hello. The company who rebuilt it have wrapped it and put covers over the the underside to stop any damage happening. It is set to top dead center and he did warn me about moving the cams separately. He has also put warning stickers on the packaging to warn of this. It's getting the block set to tdc...

Re: Mobile mechanic.
Thanks guys.
I've decided to tackle it my self. I can get it done by a pro but not till end of September. I've done quite a lot of research on it and it's not beyond me I hope. Gonna keep my head in the books for a few more days then have a go. I'll be in touch if I'm struggling.
Cheers Paul

Re: Valuation.
Hello. The car has had a nut and bolt restoration. It's been kept to it's original colour scheme that is old English white. I made sure the re-trim done by Aldridge in Wolverhampton was as close a colour to it's original. The engine and gearbox are original also having a full rebuild. It still has i...
