Re: New purchase XK150

Now that’s just taking the p155, AND you’ve got a 928!!
I’d be too excited to sleep if I had all those in the garage!

Re: New member and new car

Welcome to a forum worthy of the car! Looks beautiful and you couldn’t have picked a better name! (Also guilty of the occasional Pop Master challenge)! Have just realised I’ve screwed up and arranged a family weekend! Have fun!

+1 on a cracked manifold, albeit on a 4.2.
They can sound more ‘tappety’ than you’d expect.

Re: Pink Floyd

Were you crying because the single malt wasn't very good? Haha, no they’re all very good! I listened to that album a lot when I first started my vehicle design degree over 30 yrs ago so it took me right back! Where has that time gone and has whiskey got anything to do with it?? :scratchheadyellow:

Re: Spacer location

As it’s a 2+2 I understood they were for 2nd row foot clearance. Every little helps! I did away with mine as I preferred the extra headroom in the front.

Welcome and good luck in your search.
I’m 6’ and a bit and fit fine into my S1 2+2 once in.
You just have to thread your left leg under the large diameter steering wheel first!

Re: Spacer location

Could the large ones be from underneath the rear end of the front seat runners?

Re: Moving on. Bike resto

Stunning restoration Paul. I’ve always had a fascination for those ever since I built a really detailed Heller model of one when I was around 12! The Triumph looks cracking Steve! It’s got a great stance. Not dissimilar to a TR6 that an old mate of mine built that also looked appropriate to its era....

. Paul, just needs an engine now! Actually Paul, it does have an engine, it’s not a good picture but the engine is on top of the front wheel. Re: Moving on. Bike resto

Aha, great to see that this threads’ still going, bringing out all us closet bikers! Eddie, that’s a stunning Commando! I’ve ended up with HC flat top pistons in my P11 so she takes a good kick! I’m also 99% sure that beautiful TR6C was one I very nearly went to see at Classic Superbikes but didn’t,...
