I am trying to remove the crankshaft from 4.2 engine and seem to be stuck at the rear main oil seal. I cannot remove it. There is bolt in the way along with the locating bushings. It is a solid one piece seal not like the newer ones that are in 2 pieces. Any idea on how to remove? My next question i...

I was told in order to remove the old bonnet hinge bushing that you heat it up. Ok so once it's removed and you have the new one ready to back in do you do the reverse process?

I am a new member. I have a 1971 2+2 4.2 series 2 jag. I have a propeller shaft that has rubber sleeve over the spline end. Having trouble trying to remove it to replace with newer one. ?
