Chaps, I am just finishing the rebuild of my 66 4.2 Roadster. I am fitting the Retrosound stereo but need to find a suitable Co Axial stereo. Can anyone recommend a suitable speaker that fits the existing holes in the console. Remember its a 4.2 so has bigger speakers. thanks andrew

Perhaps you can post a photo, as I am not sure what you are referring to. TO my knowledge there is not wood in the centre console area ?

I am sure you should seal it from allowing any water to get between it and the door frame/ skin. Andrew

Thanks Simon. Yes they are re chromed. My rubber came from SNGB as Baines told me they don’t do a series 1 roadster rubber. My lower chrome went in easily !! Did you have any photos of your installation ? It’s almost as if the rubber is sticking out too far and stopping the chromes from sitting back...

I am having the devils own job of fitting the Hockey sticks back to the car they came off. It’s all the stuff that came off the car except the rubber.
