Re: Security stuff

There is a Product on Amazon that as far as I have seen should be easily installed without doing any moderations to the car. Would be very interesting if someone have some experience from this. Remote controlled main switch for the battery. https://www.amazon.com/WirthCo-20395-Preserver-Automatic-Di...

Re: Shock absorber colour

Hello!

When you paint old Girling shocks are these still usable? I mean from a driving point of view it seems strange that these still are up to the job.
Or is there a way to service/renovate them?

Re: XJ6 camshaft compatible with E Type?

Hello Steve! I’m not an expert but the main diffrecenses is probably that the inlet cam don’t have the rew counter adapter thread at the end and that they are 4 bolted to the front sprockets compared to E-type 2 bolt. Also if someone else can confirm that the xj6 cams have a slightly different profi...

Does anyone know of a visual and performance similar material to use as substitute for the various asbestos boards found on the E type?. Silencer heat shields, Fluid bottle shield on LHD cars. And then if there is a...

Lower frame bolts

Hello Everybody! I'm new to the forum and is restoring a 1965 fhc and was hoping for some thoughts regarding the 2 bolts that connect the side engine frames to the beams under the car and the reaction plate. The holes in the beams and the reaction plate are 9/16" but the holes in Martin Robeys frame...
