Hello all experts, I wonder if someone has a guess and could point me in the right direction. I’m helping a friend with his completely restored s1 1967 car. When you brake it stops perfectly but with a delay when the system return the fluid and completely release the brakes. My main question is if I...

Re: Idling problems and solution

Yes that's correct. The lid is pressed on and not supposed to open at all but this one did. When the airfilter is of it’s not easy to hear airleakage from the vaccum side.

Nyloc Nuts

Hello everybody! During my restoration I have found that it´impossible to find the original type of tall 1/4 & 5/16 Nyloc nuts that Jaguar used on quite a few places. Maybe someone know if there is a readily availiable source but otherwise I had a thought that if there was a general interest it wold...

Thanks for the reply and I will keep that in mind. Unfortunately I’m on my way to Coventry and Jaguar now. Will try to be a bit earlier next time.

Hello everybody!

Does anyone know any source that can supply the correct carpet and moquette for a 1965 Light Tan interior? It seems impossible to find.

Re: Jaguar Sport V5C

You are correct Steve regarding the name of the car thats at least what was possible to register in uk in the old days. But this is not intended for uk so I thought a question wouldn’t harm

Jaguar Sport V5C

Hello everybody!

Probably a strange question but anyway. Does anyone have registration papers (V5C) for sale stating a Jaguar Sport registered Before 1966?

Re: What causes plugs like THIS??

Could it be some kind of additive in the fuel that has been mixed in totally wrong proportion? Or oil/water from the crankcase breather pipe?

Re: Knob for heated rear glass switch

If it’s of any help I have made a few for my C type project in brass because they are the same. I can make another one but you have to sort out the chrome yourself.

chrome beading

Hello everybody!

Does anyone know if it´s possible to find the chrome beading pipe that runs along the "Crash Roll" roof cantrail on a FHC? It´s a round tube with a slit exactly the same type as on the bonnet to wing beading but slightly smaller in diameter.
