Re: Removing the S3 bonnet?

Thanks for those great answers, but I am so excited that for a change, with this car and the bonnet removed, access will be so much improved that this is the only way to go for me. Also I did not mention that I have a paint damage in the middle of the bonnet which needs to be fixed anyway so as soon...

Re: Removing the S3 bonnet?

Thanks Geoff Thanks a million, this is exactly what I needed. I have two or even 4 helpers in the family and since I am paying theyr fitness center membership it sure must be for such an occasion. To do all those tests I definitely dont want to creep around that huge bonnet the whole time...

Re: Filler Cap worries, Overheating ?

Thanks for those informative pictures. I just wanted to exchange those thermostats today and as careful as I am I still broke 3 out of 6 bolts while removing the thermostat housing. I even used an inductive heater to loosen those bolts which worked for one of them but the rest was rusted more or les...

Re: Filler Cap worries, Overheating ?

Hi, I just purchased an S3 OTS and picked it up. I started a comfortable drive along flat level country roads. At the first gas stop I saw coolant running out from under the car. Some investigating showed it only came from the overflow hose and stopped after 30 seconds some burbling could be heard, ...
