Re: Door drainage hole problems!

The rubber tube drains water from the forward edge of the door channel....what about water that gets down the side of the windows....as for German manufacturers. My 300sl had drain tubed that just drained into the cills....guess what...they rotted out very well.. .Steve

Re: Door drainage hole problems!

Hi...the bottom of your doors should have drain holes...these then have a shrouds fitted that press up against the lower seal on the body...so water drains to the outside of the seal and not into the car....many cars have had these removed or lost over the years.....shroud shape depends on car model...

Re: Interior re-trim suppliers?

The two you list are very good as are Aldridge in Wolverhampton(who i used for my trim parts)..you may not need a full kit as you will get things that your trimmer will have off the shelf...scrim/foam etc......Steve

Re: Suspension

Do you mean bent or negative camber.....yes if you hit the suspension on a kerb you would probably damage it..if the tyre hit the kerb then possibly not.....i still have no idea what you are really asking......have you had serious damage to 3 corners of your car that have possibly damaged the suspen...

Re: Suspension

If you think its damaged you need to get it checked out....how strong is the suspension is a bit like how long is a piece of string.....Its strong enough for what its designed for but if the car has had serious damage it will need a good alignment check.....Steve
