If they get better by pumping (second pump)....then something is wrong.....probably air in system....Steve

I can see that your IP is in the US so where is the car your looking at.....US market and US spec car is priced very different to a UK spec car....you should get an idea of valuation by comparing similar spec cars.....Steve

Have you tried to remove the IRS or engine useing a 4 post lift.....very awkward.....if you have plenty of room at the rear and sides then not too bad but in a standard size garage then its very difficult.........Note that with all these lifts when you want to let the car down from its raised positi...

Why would you not expect the fuel pressure to drop?.....if youve tee,d the guage between filter and carb then with pump on you will see pressure.....but as soon as you open the end of the pipe the pressure will drop....which is whats happening when the needle valves are open almost continually on fu...

Hi James...fuel pressure will drop becaus when the floats drop you open circuit so drop the pressure....what you need to do is measure the flow rate that the pump is delivering..cant remember it but just look it upon Burlan site....just disconnect pipe from filter to carb...switch pump on and time h...

Hi Bryan....i could take 30 sec or more of cranking to get oil pressure........top of the filter houseing is correct for an electric or wet guage......providing the correct gasket has been used between houseing and engine.....Some remove a bolt in the gallery and pump oil in useing a garden type spr...

Hi Malcolm.......a friend had it done at CMC......yes its nice and shiney, and lasts a long time.....however there are very different products available as " ceramic" coating....the CMC one i not a diy product....they have the car for a few days and its very expensive.....hundereds of pounds i think...

Hi Derek...i have no idea what the "usual Sng fan upgrade" is....you need to check if it uses existing wireing or it needs an upgrade.....the ignition lamp could be tbe 3AW/alternator/regulator.....you need to break the problem down....disconnect the fans then fix the ign lamp problem and ensure all...

The upgraded fans possibly draw more current than the originals so will probably need a seperate supply rather than just useing the original......whats the spec of the fans....is the new loom just for the fans...or general wireing loom....Steve
