Hi James...i just refered Carsten an mws 6x15....it just says for E type....he has S1....so could be for S3 etc i dont know....

Hi Christopher...its shown in the green Jaguar Service manual on the carb diagram...and its in the parts catalogue here in the knowledge base section for S1 & S2 cars....Steve

Hi Malcolm....is what sacrilege useing it in the rain or fitting a tonneau :bigrin: Its up to you...in the 1st photo studs are fitted for a tonneau....but as a self build you can have it as you want.....Steve

HI Carsten yes they are MWS wheels it says so on the SNG page....you will also get a good discount direct with MWS if you are a Jaguar club member....but you have to ask for it....I got 10% off 4 wheels recently.....Steve

This should be a very simple procedure....far easier to do than actually explain....look at it take a few photos and start to remove the old one takeing care with the small screw and plastic insulators....replace with the new one in the reverse order..the service manual for your car.will show detail...

Oh yes......considering that only 53 real ones were built and would cost £5m+ to purchase then a replica is the only way to go for most who want one......you could build for under £30k completed....Steve

Hi Malcolm....XJ6 is used as a doner car for engine/ suspension /diff/brakes etc...chassis is tubular from Realm and body glass fibre....lots of options for making it to your own spec....note on this one the carbs have been converted to throttle bodies and its a fuel injected 4.2...Steve https://i.p...

Hi Jeremy..thanks for posting diagram showing skid washer....had a look and its shown in the Jag service manual and in the parts catalogue S1&S2 in the knowledge base.....iv had quite a few HD8s apart and rebuilt but have never see one before......theres always something to learn with an E type...ch...

I have had the clutch stick/sieze up.....its a scary procedure to unstick it.....so operate it every now and then a move fore/aft....Steve

Hi....whats your name...please try to put it with your car model in the signature area....thanks.......Hope the gritters hadnt been out in your area last night...even on dry days if salt is about you dont want it under your car....Starting and running in the garage is ok but not just for a few minut...

One thing to note re personal plates.....make sure you tell your insurance company that in the event of a total loss claim on your vehicle that you want to keep the plate......if not the car is written off and the insurance company own the vehicle/plate.....you need conformation from your insurer be...
