No snow here in Upper Bavaria, although the alpine mountains have white caps. The E-Type sleeps at +5deg Celcius.

I could use your advice again. One of the PO's has installed a plastic inline fuel filter between the fuel filter (engine bay) and the carbs. A rubber hose was used. To me it looks like a mismatched pair of front and rear overriders. The one in the picture on the right looks like a front R/H and the other one with the gap like a rear R/H; still sloped wrong. It could be a crappy repro.

It does look nice! The AVON cross-ply CR39 Supersafety 640-15 are made for a top speed of 130km/h, according to the German AVON website.
