I had the same problem with a floppy mirror!.........it was the swivel socket ball that was too loose. I converted my 2+2 to right hand drive and made the mistake of ordering K&N filters that didn't fit!
I ended up with fitting Ram-flo by Lynx filters to my Stromberg's..........look very smart as well.
