Mainly house renovations, but by the time I finish a days building work I run out of energy to then get out in the garage... I...

Sorry, This won't help many....!

They are time served metalworkers who have spent their working life doing bodywork restorations for all sorts of classic cars,...

Re: Viability of Electric Vehicles
Isn't that a hydrogen fuel cell system, still utilising battery electric propulsion..? Whereas JCB and F1 are trialling hydrogen combustion engines. Although you rightly point out the deficiency of the system currently with lack of outlets! And of course if we do go this route the next thing will be...

Re: Engines
Morning Gentlemen. Thank you for your helpful replies. All good. The car is still on a NOVA so I take on board what you say about mods etc. I have a reason to phone DVLA so may ask some clarification on that side of things. I know with old LR's they have/had a point based system for keeping original...

Afternoon all. I have been offered what is described as a "Daimler 4.2 straight 6 efi engine" complete but without ecu... for a "couple of hundred quid"! This is through a friend who always seems to be in the right place at the right time and comes up with some crazy bargains.. one of life's lucky d...

Re: When is an import not an import?
Could you not use a UK or EU based family member to insure a vehicle and put you on as a named driver... Be that your own car or a cheap purchase for the duration? Would that then give you a fixed point of contact/base from which you are travelling.? Then check if an American driving licence covers ...
Nice....
So anyone know the lucky owner... ? What a nice job. Looks lovely

Well you've certainly found the right place to start with... Lots of fabulously knowledgeable people and lots of interesting projects to view for inspiration. I think the E type world is one to be very careful of leaping into.. Like alot of classic cars you need to decide you either have a large som...

Re: Daddy, Daddy, What did YOU do in The Covid War ?
Sire...thank you for the photos. Very much appreciated. May have to wait till I can restock on material, unless I sacrifice the gate material, which won't impress the Home Office. Now I maybe wildly wrong here ...but do I detect a smidgen of envy from the touchline??? "Blind leading the blind" .... ...
