Front bumpers with no over riders

Hi all , someone on here recently has fitted / fabricated some front bumpers with out the over riders and hooked them back into the mouth , anyone remember who's page or where it is on here I've had a little scout around restorations but can't find it , .

Anyone know the part number for this . It's the bulkhead loom grommet on the right of bulkhead where main loom comes through on a series 3 . Cheers for any idea

Quick shift kit

Hi all , anyone fitted a Quick shift to the gearstick on a T5 . If so how does it feel ?
, I have heard in the past that fitting a QS to a T5 can make it very notchy .

I did this experiment a few years back when I found out I managed to buy the last length of gates 10mm in tank submerged fuel hose in the country , I had enough for what I needed , just , but decided to see what new fuet would do , so in an old metal oil can I left 3 lengths of hose , one just a bit...

Just a thought . I know it's not the right thing to do at the moment , take our E Types out for a self isolating drive , and I totally agree with this !
But is anyone actually driving their E to work ?

Hi all , thinking about making a pair of over frame exhaust manifolds , I've got the space as I don't have brake servo , Now in the past I remember talking to an engine builder and being told if you can build exhaust manifold build it with the opposed cylinders connected, so along the lines of 1&6 5...

Monogram 1/8 th 4.2

Hi all as I'm confined to barracks , I'm about to modify this 1/8th monogram Model , now before l go chopping it up anyone know if it's super rare , Its a 4.2 as opposed to the more common revel 3.8 , it has the 4.2 seats and the script on the tailgait is separate pieces Oh and it's wired for lights...

Hands up I bailed out , don't really need anything , and was only going for a nose round and social meet , but didn't want to walk up and down and notice so and so arnt there or so and so is not here etc

Doesn't sound worth the hassle of what could go wrong , my advice would be to give Pilkington classic windscreen a call tell them what you have your get it and it will fit ,
Mine cost £400.00 and that was a custom build ( 1mm thinner on each lamminate)
Just my 2 pence worth :bigrin:

I have been in contact several times with the same scenario most often plate transfer off old cars for the 1st time , and the " rules" change every time , from needing an inspection , needing an mot , ( even though it's mot excempt and the one before didnt need mot-ing) or it just goes through ok .....

Just a little tip when removing / fitting trim on or around bodywork masking tape is your freind. Any slip of screwdriver said masking tape may save ones bacon

Is your oil pressure coming up , As the red light on a series 1 is oil pressure and works in conjunction with a relay to also be ignition light , So before running it for much longer , see if your oil pressure gauge is coming up , and maybe check your battery with a multi meter to see if it's being ...
