Quick release steering wheel

Hi well after having my E on the road for just about a year now , I thought I'd comment on the super spoke quick release steering wheel ,........ yep it's a thumbs up from me , the wheel is basically taken off every time I exit the car , as well as handling some vigorous drift lock to lock movements...

Hi , I'm running an Ali bonnet and so far so good I've done about a thousand miles now , I doubt if sticky tyres on a gravel drive flicking up at driveway speed are going to cause any dings if any damage at all , also sticky tyres aren't usually sticky unless properly up to temp , Regards Darren

Low millage

So A thought crossed my mind . My E has only done 19000 miles from new . (Laid up in 1980 ) and it needed a complete rebuild , and a few mods ,
Anyone had to restore a lower millage one than that , and /or anyone with a megga low millage car out there , ? Just being nosey :bigrin:

So an update / conclusion, one £1.98 felt ring has now cleaned my E engine up no end with no plumes of oil smoke off manifold :bouncyyellow:

Well what a day ,ended up 4th in class (10 cars in class ) Very pleased with how car ran and more important how it handled , so responsive and so much feed back , just gutted now that I hadn't fitted my second set of wheels with sticky Avons on I was only half a second off of 3rd place , and to go h...
