Ian Stuart s partner, to tell me he passed away yesterday ,
I'm guessing a good few of us used his services as a top exhaust fabrication guy and or just chewd the fat with him at Jag spares day ,

Hi when I built my car I did two things to the irs cage , 1 cleaned up the very old dodgy original welds and made the seam welds better and longer , especially as I knew I would be giving the car some stick , and 2 I had it cadmium coated in the yellow gold colour, i never paint stressed / structura...

I Like to 6 cylinder cars reaching no more than 80 before fan comes on , going off at about 73 .
And V12 a little higher 87 max on
Going off around 82 .
And that's testing with me thermometer probe . Not just relying on the temp gauge .

Just , with a sharp blade , cut the felt washer in half then you're back to the correct level and get two washers for the price of one ....... simples

Hi both wheels turning the same way is a sure sign of having an LSD .
Have you checked the prop flange bolts to gearbox flange are not loose , they're notorious for not being tight
