Re: Otter Switches

Thanks David, will look at those. I ordered the fan about 2 years ago and it’s been sitting in a box; now finally at the stage of using it. Obviously should have dealt with the switch whilst importing the fan but never mind. Marek, yes good point. I don’t particularly want to run it too cool (wishfu...

Otter Switches

Hi All, I need a new Otter switch for my s1 4.2 fhc; I see both Barratts and Burlens offer these. Burlens offer two, one with switch closing at 80 degrees, and one closing at 90; is there an opinion as to which temperature range is the best? Perhaps one of the "other" services that they don't list on their website? I might enquire, a...

Re: Scam alert!

Chaps, I bought my S1 4.2 FHC via Mario in 2016, shipped from the US to the UK. The car was as described, communication with Mario was all via email and honest, and the car arrived in one piece. Overall I was very pleased with the transaction. I can't agree with the conman accusations above based on...

Re: History tracing

Kevin, ODX is an Ipswich registration mark I believe. I'm not sure if the records survive but you could contact the Kithead trust (http://kitheadtrust.org.uk) to understand if any of the registration logs are still around. Sometimes they still exist in county record offices. This could be useful in ...
