Tom, if you remove the bonnet stays so the bonnet can tip all the way forward it should be possible to remove the radiator that way. Place a couple of blocks of wood under the over riders to keep the bonnet from tipping too far. Have a helper with you when you remove the bonnet stay bolts to hold th...

Hi Chris I recently replaced the water pump on my 69 S2 and removed the bonnet, fan shroud and fans, and then the radiator to access the pump. I think it would be very difficult to do it without removing the radiator.
