Re: thicker Moto-Lita steering wheel

Just fitted a 14 inch motolita. Really pleased with it. I wanted to try something that wasn't as large as the original and didn't flex. Although I prefer the look of a woodrim wheel, I do prefer to drive using a leather wheel. https://i.postimg.cc/G2z3fvG3/20190913-071207-resized.jpg https://i.posti...

Re: Does anyone know my car (USA)

That's interesting thanks Mark. It moved from new York to California in 1970 I wonder if they kept it on new York plates until the eighties or more likely there was another plate involved. Not sure how the US license plate system works

Does anyone know my car (USA)

Has had license plate MS5047 New York and 1QBE038 California. 1E35195 I know its ownership history except for years 1976 to 2000. I believe one person owned it during that time in the Reseda area of California. I have put it on XKEDATA. This is how it looked in March 1969. https://i.postimg.cc/kMKSp...

Re: Cover for car

I prefer my carcoon veloce. Easy to get in and out due to the frame. I can look at it through window! and get into it quickly without taking off the whole cover. Also no scratches pulling the cover on and off. Keeps it dry and moisture free. You can put it away if it gets a bit dirty unlike normal c...

Show everyone your garage!

I noticed after seeing some pics people had posted that there are some great looking garages. I thought I would start it off with mine.

Re: Varnish for series 1 steering wheel

My wheel isn't varnished. I would prefer a varnish finish to it. Any recommendations on what I should use?

Re: Metal circle on windscreen!

Not sure I'm brave enough to knock it off! So did series 1.5's have a series 2 mirror. I know of all the other differences and I know some had all of these and some had a few. However never knew about this difference.

Metal circle on windscreen!

I should know this I'm sure and its probably a daft question .. however on windscreen there is a round metal object on the windscreen near where the rear view mirror is. Its got a hole in the middle of it. What the heck is this?! :helpsign:

Re: Anyone started to use their e-types yet?

Great run yesterday from Exeter to Marazion. Lots of road debris to prove I've been motoring.
