Re: SNG Barratt User Group

Quick update on the above post. Honest answer is that we dont currently have easy access 3.8 car that we can try the 3.8 belt on, hence the delay. However, we will be able to over this weekend so its going to be early next week when we can advise further. In terms of measurements, what we have in st...

Re: SNG Barratt User Group

Hi Tadek, Yes, i am aware of the thread on the fan belts. In my expereince, fan belts can be somewhat tricky - i remember some years back we had an issue with the 4.2 Series 1 version where a very well respected journalist with one of the main magazines was adamant that they didnt fit, but our techn...

Re: Disappointed in parts quality

Hi All, Very interesting thread and the detail from Bill particularly is comprehensive indeed. I have been lucky enough to visit Bill in his workshops and they dont come much more "switched on" than he is. There are a number of different variants of this part on the market at present (we stock 4 typ...

Re: Fitting the new style SNG Barrett Hand brake compensator

Hi All, The design was changed so that the part could be fitted to LWB and SWB versions of the E-type as the original could only be fittted to the SWB versions. I think (though i have to check) that part of the modification was also to allow easier fitment. We made the changes in conjunction with th...

Re: SNGB Web Feedback

Hi Simon, Many thanks indeed for this feedback and yes, i do understand the question/issue. What you are looking for is a "reverese look up" type functionality - so that you can see where on a car a particular part fits. We do have this functionality in the background but trying to make this user fr...

Re: More crap parts

Rest easy? I am not sure anyone is resting easy just at the moment...

I think there is only once source on this part and its not a source who makes bushes etc so i wouldnt think that, becasue this is out, there would be any bearing on bushes.

Hope you get it sorted.

Re: SNGB Web Feedback

Hi Julian, Excellent work and big improvement, well done to the team. Two observations, hopefully I was using the system correctly: :studyinggray: My order history and details in my garage when logged in was out of date only showing 2 closed invoices from 2015/16. ? My car was originally a XKE with...

Re: SNGB Web Feedback

Hi Julian Sometimes when I log into your site I get the new, much improved, version. Other times I still get the old, error message laden one. Can you remove the old one please? Edit - I am talking about the parts listings, the new version starts with little pictures of Body Fittings, Body Shell an...

Re: SNGB Web Feedback

Thanks for the feedback above. In response to a couple of the above - Steve, we have now resolved your issue i believe. This was actually an issue that was there before the changes we made but we have now sorted it. The area around the diff can be very hard to catalogue as there are a number of vari...

Re: SNG Barratt User Group

Hi Yves, We will drop you a line shortly to work out which bush you had from us and look into the issue for you. Bill is correct about the different versions that we offer and we also do some radius arms complete with bushes already fitted as well as some harder, race spec versions. Its not correct ...
