I have searched the 1984 E Type Register Directory but alas no record of a car with that partial number nor by name is recorded.

I agree with Chris re correct nomenclature etc. There is such a wealth of information out there that I am still surprised that owners do not know the difference between the various models! Regarding value: obviously a LHD car is worth less than a RHD in the UK. Different if being sold in a LHD marke...

Thanks guys. The particularly strange thing is why it has become so pronounced since fitting a new battery.
