Any chance of a full picture of the series 2 chassis plate?
SNG have several examples but the only one of this size is marked "Daimler" and not "Jaguar".

fitting new tyres to my '69 series 2 this weekend ( 185/80/15R) on wire wheels and putting tubes in. However I cannot get linings locally ( South Africa). Is there an alternative/DIY solution?

I'm having the same problem in South Africa ( no Dunlop or Michelin and Vredensteins hard to come by). Just been offered Hankooks ( 'T' speed rating 118mph- which is fine for me).
