Re: Seals and seals...

Thanks for the help guys. I see there have been quite some changes in how Jaguar sealed the doors and windows. I have figured 1,2,4 are correct. 3 must likely correct and 5 deffinitly wrong, still not sure but I will figure along the way with the rest.

Re: Hello all, young Etype owner joining the club :)

Welcome Thim! Fantastic job you are doing. I was only doing bicycles at 15!! You have clearly done plenty of homework or have an experienced guide. Excellent back axle work  Only thing for me is I don't like to see a car in all one colour, inside and out which is why I changed my interior to...

Hello all, young Etype owner joining the club :)

Hello from Norway! I'm relatively new here and want to introduce myself and get to know the community. I got my Jaguar Etype s1 2+2 when I was 15 and it needed full restoration. (see pictures) 😯now I'm 22, finished school and have become a mechanic (naturly...) and are now studying on to become a si...

Custom wheels series 1

I'm looking for wheels for my s1 1967 2+2,but I've heard some "horror" stories... I want as wide wheels as possible. I think 16*7 could work? But I've heard they may hit the inner side of the body, I need to remove the bump stop (no biggy), but do anyone know how much rubber I can have? Also heard t...

Brake slave cylinder

Hey, I'm trying to rebuild my brake slave cylinder / brake vacume cylinder. I'm now very unsure about how the retaining pin is supposed to stress the spring on the slave piston. Anyone who knows? https://i.postimg.cc/MGtqmN4Q/IMG-20181220-165031.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/J7sHt5Dq/IMG-20181220-175041....
