Hello,
I removed the splined center from an old wire wheel and welded on a bar to make a hub wrench.
Works well.

I think he means that he changed the cylinders on one side to Zeus which wouldn't be advisable IMO.
Zeus clearly states they are only sold in sets of four.

Mine is genuine Churchill and its 3/4" X 36"
Don't forget the thread protector cap which fits in place of the castellated nut.

With this option, series 2 steering arms will have to be used as well.

Early synchro hubs are known to be troublesome and were later modified by the factory.

Hello,

Is the timing cover original to your engine?
The reason I ask is that there have been instances where it's been changed to the later 3" involute variant whilst retaining the earlier 2-3/4" impeller pump.
The result is lack of flow due to cavitation.

Hi Andrew, Yes you can. Have your machinist fly cut the 3.8 bell housing to accommodate the larger input shaft bearing on the synchro box. Use your 3.8 flywheel and 3.8 starter. Hi Martin,
I believe the water pump you're looking for is from a series 1.5, or early series 2.
The part number is C28129 and it has the 2-3/4" impeller along with the bypass adaptor that matches the tstat housing you'll be using.
