Just wondering if the problem might be using old pads (worn to suit a previous Dunlop cylinder) with a new Zeus cylinder? What I mean is that I have seen old pads which, for some reason, take on a slightly wedge shape after bedding in. Possibly due to the fact that the face of the piston is not exac...

Hi, It's the same scale of hatching but for me it just looks different. I think getting a hold of the original dies as you suggested is the way to go. It will be a while before I'm at the stage I'll need it so hoping something will turn up before then. BTW,I was in a small supermarket the other day ...

If I get a chance I will try and get a photo of my original 'Cross Hatch' dash and a photo of the Aston Martin replacement sheet. You can see what you reckon to it yourself then. Hi, I bought one of these sheets from Aston Martin . It's not as I had expected. Yes, it is the cross hatch pattern but it appears to be more an etched pattern rather than a stamped/rolled on pattern. I'm two minds on whether to use it or not. Cost a fortune though.
