My seats do not have any lever that I can see, the seat back is either up or folded down??, its a Jan 1965 4.2 FHC.

Sorry one other question, with 4.2 seats the back of the seats can be tipped forward, are the seat backs supposed to lock in the upright position, if so how?, as mine don't lock in the upright position they can be easily tipped forward.

I am planning to replace the seat base foam and rubber support on my S1 4.2 FHC 1965, but can't see how the base is fixed to bottom seat frame?

Hi, the cause was one of the hose connections to/from the master cylinder, I tightened them up and the noise has gone!!. I also tightened the screws on the reaction valve just to make sure as the master cylinder was rebuilt. Many Thanks

I have had the brake servo and master cylinder restored on my 4.2 S1 FHC 1965, after refitting the restored parts and bleeding the system the brake pedal is suitably hard. Once the engine is started and the brake pedal is pressed (without the car moving) there is a high pitched squeal from the front...

Many Thanks for the reply, the overriders were on the car as a pair a S1 1965 4.2 FHC, but I can't remember how they looked fiited.

Does anyone have or can take photos of how the rear overriders are supposed to sit on the bumpers please.
