Lost brake light, indicators & reversing lamp.

HI Chaps I was off to the MOT today so checked through the lights to find I have lost brake lights (all side lights are good), reversing lamp and indicators (no blinking of lights or dash indication or sound of unit) However I do have the horn, which normally goes together with the brake lights. I h...

Having said you can get a good picture of the Mona Lisa on-line I thought I would grab one, and then I saw this, which made me laugh;

All the photos we took are the same (but not as good perhaps) as photos you can find on-line for any of the attractions I listed. We tend not to take many pics with us in the frame as we spent a lot of time criticizing and laughing at the Japanese for having to be in EVERY picture they take (they mu...

Good advice so far, thanks. By the way Dave, jolly sporting of you for not being at the IoW JEC show this year allowing me to win 'Best Jaguar Sports Car' this year. I see your name is on the cup three times so far! I know I said I would come and see you before but things got in the way, this time I...

Our Grand Tour - Where should we go?

Hi folks We have owned our E-Type for four and a half years now and we haven't gone anywhere much with it, so finally I have booked our passage to Caen France from October 4th to the 13th. I feel we must have a 'grand tour' before I could consider letting it go. Our only brief is to travel through F...

well, the reaction plate is now in but even with the car back on the suspension with the engine and box in I cannot get the top shock absorber to reach up further enough to go back in!! this is a pain of a job. Surely the weight of the engine should be enough to fit a shock absorber? Its not rocket...

S1 Ignition switch replacement and the dead battery

I have recently had a problem with the ignition switch of my series 1.5 2+2. Some things on my car are S1 style and some are S2. I have toggle switches, a separate starter button, and wires that tally with S1 wiring diagram to be found on this site. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm34/Skiday/Jag...

Interesting. I for one have long wished the manufactures would not re-use model names of the past, and also to progress the names like Triumph did with the TR series but unlike Toyota did with the MR2. Whenever I 'Bing' or look on e-bay for DBS 99% of what I find relates to the modern one, which is ...

Thanks Lorenzo, nice pics. The rain looks heavy, did it rain for much of the event, or was that just a shower? I have often wondered and perhaps you might know or could find out - How come it is called the "Thousand Miles"? Have miles ever been used in Italy? Why not 1600 Kilometers? (OK 1000 is a n...

Hi Mike

Is the information you accessed easy to find? When I looked at the Isle of Wight I see you have shown DB5, DB6 & V8s, but if I wanted to see if there are any other DBS owners, could I do that? But it's interesting to see classic ownership is very high here (178% of what you'd think)

It would be more helpful to me to refrain from putting 'Dropbox' down as I am very happy with it and just seek to expand it. If you don't like it, please don't put others off from trying it. Ta. If you download it, you can always remove it later, I still keep the extra room, and you never know, you ...
