Hi Guys......just working with a friend on his s2 OTS......is it possible to replace the Diff input seal in situ?.....undun the prop at the diff but cant get it out of the way far enough to remove the i/p flange.....am I missing something before the IRS comes out.....Thanks Steve

Hi Again Graham.....I wont say its impossible to remove the leaky caliper with the IRS in position because i havent tried.....But from memory i dont think so .....there is much less room to manouver on the 2+2 than the FHC. all the best Steve

Hi Chris...when i was up at CMC.....their trimmer was using this for everything.....applying one very thin coat to both surfaces as a primer & let it dry & then another to both surfaces & let dry & use as contact adhesive..... steve

Hi again......just looked on the Jag lovers site. most are saying that the original spec was a 1.35v mercury battery......one guy used a 1.5v in a plastic holder & wired to the clock terminals & it worked ok......Or look on the Barrets site they have them to fit the clock but at ?7 plus....Steve

Hi All.........Been looking through the workshop manual & can only find the timing settings for the 3.8......this shows 10deg static.....& the distributor giving max 12deg mechanical.....is this the same for the 4.2 ( 9:1 comp) also what is the dynamic range at 2krpm & 3krpm cant seem to see this in...

Hi All......Had a great drive out in the Shropshire hills today nice and quiet on the back roads so could really try it out.....first long run since the rebuild of the IRS & everything else under the bonnet exept the engine.
